Christina Lercher

Since 2014 Christina is working for the EEN as expert for Horizon 2020 and other EU-Programmes and expert in innovation funding programmes. Within the EEN she is offering service and support mainly for SMEs, but also large enterprises and research organisations, in project application and management as well as international cooperation.

Christina is an experienced EU professional on project development with a large network throughout the European Union.  Christina is since 2011 employed within Standortagentur Tirol. She acted as Regional Contact Point for the 7th Framework Programme and expert for project development and management of FP7 and Interreg projects. Christina was responsible for the success of the FP7-smart city demonstration project Sinfonia (project no 609019). She was also involved in the development of the Smart Specialisation Strategy of the region of Tyrol.

In her previous career, she has mainly been involved in EU project management for 3 FP6 projects, 4 FP7 projects, support to 1 ERA-NET and organisation of 1 EU-funded symposium. Christina is expert on European funding programmes since FP5 and managed several national-funded projects. She worked also as project manager for a start-up company in the biotechnology sector.
